If you’ve ever wondered how a foundation is poured on the side of a hill there are a couple of steps to it. You’ve got all your rebar set and tied off, and when they say they’re tying off rebar they take little clips of wire and tie them off. Then up high you’ve got your concrete truck. The concrete truck pulls up to what’s called a pump trailer. That pump trailer catches the concrete, brings it down the hose and it goes in. There are guys there just to soften it, making sure it looks nicely laid like nice flat concrete. What happens next is the forms that are on-site get set up on the pieces of rebar that will be extended to be the walls and floors.
