When someone is corresponding, especially now with COVID and everything else that’s going on and making introductions by email, when the person doing the introduction is on the email makes the introduction you can respond back and bcc them. What this does is it keeps the person making the introduction on the email for one more step to see that you have now corresponded with the other party, then you can go forward rather than dragging someone through the whole “oh hey great to meet you to meet you” back and forth “let’s get on a call… let’s do this let’s do that” and I just thought of this because it happened to me the other day.
